Join Me in Raising $15K for a Cause!
As I reflect on 15 incredible years of serving the Guelph & Tri city area community as a realtor, I’m filled with gratitude for the relationships I’ve built and the trust so many of you have placed in me. To mark this milestone, I’m thrilled to announce a special fundraiser that combines celebration with giving back: “15K for 15 Years.”
As real estate professionals, we proudly dedicate our working lives to helping you find the foundation from which you can build your future. But we know a house is only a home when the people who live there feel safe, loved and accepted. Unfortunately, there are thousands of women and children across Canada who do not have that privilege. On any given day in Canada, it is estimated that more than 3,000 women (and their children) are living in an emergency shelter to escape domestic violence. This initiative is about more than just hitting a fundraising goal; it’s about making a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most. Together, we can create something truly impactful.
About the Fundraiser
For almost 15 years, I have been personally involved in a program where a portion of my commission from each transaction is donated to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. My donations remain locally and support our Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis, and the brave women and children they serve. Thank you for supporting my business with your real estate needs, as this allows me to also help support our community through this program.
Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis is a diverse, inclusive community-based organization, providing safety, advocacy, prevention, education, and support for women and children impacted by domestic violence. They offer several programs and services for some of our most vulnerable in our community from shelters for domestic violence to sexual assault centre, and the human trafficking program. These services are essential and, unfortunately, still necessary in our society and community.
The goal is simple yet ambitious: raise $15,000 to support and to be directed to most immediate support needs at Marianne’s Place through Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis. Because Royal LePage Canada pays the administrative costs of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, you can rest assured that 100% of every dollar raised will go directly toward making a meaningful impact, and I’m committed to seeing this dream become a reality.
