Support Our Local Women & Children’s Shelter at Marianne’s Place
Every day, our local crisis women and children’s shelter opens its doors to those escaping difficult and dangerous circumstances. These families often arrive with little more than the clothes on their backs. They are seeking not just safety, but also dignity, comfort, and hope.
Right now, the shelter is in urgent need of everyday essentials that many of us take for granted. By donating even a small item, you can make a profound difference in the lives of women and children starting over.
Items Needed Most:
🛒 Pantry Staples – beans, tuna, cereal, oatmeal, shelf-stable milks, juices
🧻 Household Supplies – tissues, toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap
🧴 Personal Care – shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, unscented or mild hand cream, hairbrushes
👣 Comfort Items – indoor shoes/flip flops, bathrobes
👶 Baby & Toddler Needs – diapers (sizes 5, 6, and 7)
Each donated item helps restore a sense of normalcy for women and children. It provides comfort and hope for those who have had to leave so much behind.

In addition to these urgently needed supplies, I’m running a very special fundraiser: 15K for 15 Years. To celebrate my 15th anniversary with Royal LePage and serving my community, I’ve committed to raising $15,000. This is in support of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, Canada’s largest public foundation. It is dedicated to funding women’s shelters and violence prevention programs. Every penny I raise goes directly to our local community shelter needs.
This initiative is close to my heart because it combines two things I deeply value—serving my community and ensuring everyone has a safe place to lay their head by supporting women and children in crisis. Together, we can provide the essential care and resources needed to help families rebuild safe, secure, and hopeful futures.
