According to this article from Huffington Post “What are the safest cities in Canada?” Statistics Canada has released the study on police reported crimes and examines the Crime Severity Index. It also looks at the volume of police-reported crime relative to the population size, and although there was a slight increase nationally, it is deemed to be lower than it was 10 years ago. Good signs overall!
We should be proud in Guelph to be able to say that we are rated the 5th safest city in Canada! If you live in Guelph, you know that it is the Best city regardless 🙂
