St. Joseph’s Health Care Centre in Guelph (SJHCG) is a leader in providing outstanding healthcare and support to clients (residents, patients, participants), families, and the broader community they serve. Their programs and services support people of all ages who need rehabilitation, complex medical, or long term care. They are Guelph’s leading, fully-accredited, not-for-profit provider of resident long term care, complex medical, and rehabilitation services. They offer excellent community support services for people who live in their own homes but need a little assistance in their day-to-day lives. They also provide community outreach programs that help people, including those living with dementia or frailty, to manage their conditions while staying active in the community.
Inspired by the legacy of the Sisters of St. Joseph, they use a holistic care philosophy to support each person’s mind, body, and spirit throughout their healthcare journey. They are dedicated to compassionate, person-centred care through discovery, innovation and partnerships.

Ctrl V is the world’s first virtual reality arcade. They offer a fun, safe environment for customers to experience some of the best virtual reality content, using premium equipment, all at an affordable price! They are also a perfect venue for birthdays, groups, corporate events, field trips and more! Their mission at Ctrl V is to accelerate the adoption of and provide public access to emerging immersive technologies at an affordable price with unsurpassed customer service. For decades, humanity has dreamt about escaping into different worlds and alternate realities – experiencing things that we otherwise couldn’t. The development of virtual reality (VR) technology over the years has finally made this possible. VR is not only a form of entertainment, but can also be used for training, education, therapy and a variety of other applications. Ctrl V sees itself as being on the forefront of this paradigm shift.
Ctrl V was born in 2016 by a local trio of entrepreneurs. The trio took over an old Blackberry building next door to the University of Waterloo and part of WIN (Waterloo Innovation Network) and transformed it into a futuristic dreamscape straight out of Tron, with blue lights and VR stations outfitted with top-of-the-line VR equipment. All the equipment is sanitized and disinfected between all sessions and the games have their own individual rooms, so you are social distancing while still being able to engage with other players in the environment – virtually. Ctrl V was also promoting social distancing before it was cool!
